Reading lots is my #1 goal of the summer. School makes reading for fun near impossible, so I'm ready to load up all summer.
Summer Reading List: (again with the lists)
-Twilight (again). I didn't like it the first time. I didn't have a lot of consecutive reading time so I just couldn't get into it. But I know that I will love it the second time around (even though I heard 2 and 3 are kinda lame)
-The Chronicles of Narnia... mostly because I can't remember reading them
-Murder with Penguins, Donna Andrews series
Any suggestions on what I should add to my summer list? Preferably an easy-ish read (sorry Faulkner, that excludes you).
Just a word to the wise - just because "Oprah" recommends a book does not alway make it a good book to read. ie: Pillars of the Earth - inspite of it being brillantly written, the repeated gang rape and violence was very hard for me to read.
ReplyDeleteI am a little silly, but I like to take a good cookbook to bed. They produce sweet dreams.............
oops! not Steph who posted, it's her mommy.
