 We Summerfested our hearts out in early June. It wasn't winter-coat-cold (although Melis is practically wearing a coat), it was still chilly. And windy. Luckily, the wind died down enough for the fireworks.

Now that Summerfest was here we can say, "Welcome summer!"

 Our summer bucket list was filled with outdoor activities. We quickly crossed off outdoor concert (Dallyn Vail Bayles house concert) and free neighborhood outdoor movies on Mondays near my parent's place.

 My dad wished himself happy birthday with a new toy. Don't worry, we wear helmets.

 Strawberries and cream (aka heaven in a cup) at Strawberry Days.

We jumped a bit late on our garden because of our adventures, but we still planted petunias in the front and veggies and herbs in the garden.

My darling niece and nephew stopped by when we were planting our flowers and they offered to help. I will never turn down such cute help. Our flowers now look amazing.
