Memorial Day Weekend
We spent Memorial Day weekend in St. George a short week after our big trip (I wasn't even fully unpacked yet). We are always looking for fun things to do on the 3 hour+ drive. This year we picked the Cache Valley Cheese Factory where the ice cream is home churned, the cheese is the size of small children and curd is purchased by the barrel. Rumor has it Beaver also has the best water in the U.S.A. Who knew?
The afternoon was spent with Grammy who snowbirds in St. George playing Rummikub, looking at old pictures and cooking her tuna casserole recipe.
Our weekend digs were courtesy of our friends Andrew and Brooke and Brooke's parents. They are incredibly kind and we are so lucky to keep getting invited back. We lounged by the pool, ate incredible food, slept in a king-size bed (a big deal for these crazy fools who still cozy up on a full at night) and hiked around the red rocks.
Loooong weekends are the ultimate.
